What is tumbling?

Tumbling involves gymnastics based skills on the floor. It can include cartwheels, walkovers, handsprings and more.

Who can join the Tumble Time Program?

The program is open to anyone regardless of skill level, gender or age. We provide coaching for athletes walking-18 years old.

What are the benefits of joining the Tumbling Coaching Program?

The program helps individuals develop their tumbling skills, build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance their performance. Our main goal is for athletes to progress and grow confidence and skills.

What can I expect during a tumbling coaching session?

During the session, our tumbling coach will provide individualized instruction on specific skills and technique as well as provide spotting when needed.

Can I bring a friend or family member to the coaching sessions?

Family members or friends are allowed in the gym during coaching sessions to watch. All spectators are expected to sit in the parent room during their child’s session. The coach expects her students to be able to focus and work hard during their session. Parents are expected to be respectful of all the athletes participating as well as the coach.

Do you offer group coaching sessions?

Yes. We offer both one-on-one coaching and group coaching sessions.

How often should I attend tumbling coaching sessions?

Classes and private lessons are scheduled for each week. Families have the option to sign up for multiple classes.

Can I reschedule a tumbling coaching session?

Tumbling sessions cannot be rescheduled. All classes are nonrefundable and must be paid in full. We do not offer make ups or refunds for any class sessions that are missed for any reason. Private lessons may be rescheduled but the coach must have at least 24 hour notice.

Do I need to bring any equipment to tumbling coaching sessions?

We provide all the necessary equipment. Please wear comfortable clothing. No baggy clothes, jean short/pants or dresses. We suggest a leotard, shorts, tshirt, sports bra or crop top. If your child is a cheerleader, they are more than welcome to wear their clean cheer shoes to their session.

Where is Tumble Time located?

We are located at 564 NY-13 in Horseheads. Please do not park on the grass across from the entrance but feel free to park in the spots in front of the entrance and across the lot.
